Lasse Berghagen is a Swedish singer, songwriter, actor, and composer. He is best known for his work in the 1970s and 1980s, when he released a number of hit singles and albums. He has also acted in several films and television series. Berghagen was born in Enskede, Stockholm, Sweden, on 13 May 1945. He began his career as a singer in the 1960s, and released his first single in 1965. He released his first album, Lasse Berghagen, in 1969. Berghagen has released a total of 18 studio albums, and has had a number of hit singles, including "En kväll i juni" (1970), "Visa vid midsommartid" (1971), "Sommaren är kort" (1972), and "Så länge skutan kan gå" (1973). He has also composed music for films and television series, including the theme song for the Swedish version of the television series The Muppet Show. Berghagen has also acted in several films and television series, including the Swedish television series Rederiet (1992–2002). He has also appeared in the films The Brothers Lionheart (1977) and The Journey to Melonia (1989). Berghagen has been married twice, and has two children. He currently lives in Stockholm.
